Tell me, what can you gather from my smile?
My hope is that you can see and feel the Mystery by catching the gleem/glow in my eye/eyes. Did you?
You did. and I did, because we’ve shared a moment of intensly shared delight. Sure its contained and diplomatic, but there is this undoubtable leap which our hearts have taken.
An old-fashioned grin. One of those that makes you shake your head in accompanyment.
Why all this happiness?
Discovery of the Quest that is the human life.
Climbing a tree, digging a trench, lighting a fire, falling asleep.
Up and then down. Right, left.
Christmas and then summer again.
And whether or not you choose to see it exactly that way, it is beautiful.
The intensity of redemption is so magnetic to us mortals. We wrong and then there is right. And we know it is right. We don’t get tired of it. Not one bit. It has been so engrained in us and is so utterly attractive to our very core, that every time we see or experience or even hear of the experience of redemption in whatever way we choose to decode or even label it, we are sucked in.
And this is precisely what we are smiling about.
I think it is.
